Setting.
Colours.
The black and white colouring suits the urban setting as it is fairly bleak and adds a certain climatic feeling which makes it seem like a once busy city is now deserted. The theme of this has been carried out through all parts of the CD package as even the imagery on the actual CD is urban with the black and white coloured brick wall.
The covers.
The front cover looking like an opening to a side alley draws the audience in as it looks like the opening to the album, it is an inviting image but at the same time due to the isolated feel of the image, it doesn't produce a very warm feeling to the audience. The back of the album has the same effect as many of the scenes that we have filmed due to the fact that the buildings look boardered up and there are high fences which are common to see in an urban setting. The listing of tracks looks like posters which have been put up across the wall which is a common trait of this kind of setting. The white background with the simplistic writing stands out against the grey/black background. There are many similarities between this look for a CD insert and ours.
