Audience questionnaire feedback analysis.
We made these pie charts on the basis of our research which we carried out before filming our music video. They show a range of categories which we thought were relevant to us getting the best outcome out of our filming. We wanted to know what people thought about our chosen genre and see if our ideas fit before we started doing the final filming for the video. We received a variety of answers even though we mainly focused on one specific target audience which was people of our age group. It is clear to see that the questioning referring to the favourite genre of the recipient caused the most amount of variety in answers which is not uncommon as everyone has a different taste in music. We were unsure about whether or not to include lip synching in our music video which is why we added this question into the questionnaire. We felt that lip synching didn't really match our chosen genre and many of the videos which we looked at for the genre did not include it either. It turns out that most people we asked though that lip synching should not be included so that backed up our decision to not use it. Without this we would not have been able to know truly what our target audience would be expecting for a video in the specific genre of garage rock.
